Dear Parents and Carers,

As we reach the end of the spring term, it’s hard to believe just how much we’ve fitted into such a short (and very busy) few weeks! It’s been a bit of a whirlwind, however, I am so proud of everything the children have achieved in that time.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you to our fantastic staff team, who have worked incredibly hard to make the term so rich and enjoyable for all our children. We’re also really grateful to you, our parents and carers, for your continued support, it makes such a difference to our school community.

There have been lots of highlights this term. As part of Science Week, the Amazelab workshops brought plenty of excitement and hands-on learning into school. It was wonderful to see the children so engaged and curious. A special mention needs to go to our Year 5 pupils, who represented the school brilliantly during the residential at PGL, not forgetting those who remained in school, who also did us proud. Also, a huge well done to our Young Voices choir who were absolutely phenomenal.

It has been lovely to welcome so many of you into school recently. We absolutely loved celebrating World Book Day with you! There were some brilliant costumes, and it was great to see such enthusiasm for reading across the school. Seeing families reading together was a real joy.

Our Easter service at church was another special moment. The children did a fantastic job, and it was lovely to share it with so many of you. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and support.

The Rocksteady concerts were another highlight, and we really appreciated your support in celebrating the children’s musical achievements.

Finally, our EYFS Coffee Morning was well attended as always, and I’m sure the cake and chat were just as popular as the chance to see what the children have been up to!

As we head into the Easter break, we hope you all have a lovely, restful time with your families. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone back for another exciting term on Monday 13th April.

Best wishes for a Happy Easter.

Mrs Edwards
