World Book Day 2026 – Thursday 5th March

Dear Parents and Carers,
We are very excited to be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 5th March!
To mark the occasion, children are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character or wearing their pyjamas. Please do not feel it is necessary to buy an expensive costume.
We are also delighted to invite parents and carers into school to share a story with your child in the school hall. There will be two sessions available:
Please note that numbers for each session will be limited. We kindly ask that you reserve places for one of the sessions for yourself and your child(ren) using the Eventbrite links above. This will help us manage numbers safely and comfortably.
Refreshments will be available for a small charge, and there will also be a book stall selling pre-loved books at 50p each, giving children the opportunity to take home a new story to enjoy.
We very much look forward to welcoming you into school and celebrating our love of reading together.
